The work is dedicated to the glacial wells of Vezzano. The work represents the slow and incessant action of nature, which strongly impresses its energies on matter and has been able to leave clear signs in memory of past geological eras. The porphyritic boulder is divided in two, the larger part, slightly inclined, with the sculpted surface, wants to represent the movement of the glacier; the other, smaller, shows the consequent erosive action and recalls the shapes of glacial wells.
